CargoTravel.online is not a freight carrier, freight forwarder, broker or shipping agent. We do not book, carry or arrange shipments, and we do not provide official quotations.

Shipping Cost Estimates

All shipping costs shown by CargoTravel.online are estimates. They should not be treated as official shipping quotations.

Cost estimates are calculated from the rates you enter, or from example rates that are clearly labelled as examples. They are not live market rates. Please keep in mind that:

We aim to keep the calculator’s formulas and unit conversions correct, and we explain how each result is worked out. Volume and weight results are calculated from the measurements you enter, so their accuracy depends on the accuracy of your inputs.

Carriers use their own pricing rules, which may differ from the general methods used by the calculator:

  • Carrier-specific rules may differ between companies, services and routes.
  • Volumetric-weight divisors may vary. The calculator uses common defaults (6000 for air, 3000 for road) that you can change, but your carrier may use a different figure.
  • Chargeable-weight rules may vary. Some carriers round weights up, apply minimum charges or use other methods such as loading metres or per-container pricing.

We cannot guarantee that any result will match the figures used by a particular carrier.
